වෘත්තීය අධ්යාපනය සපයන ආයතන වල කාර්මික අංශයේ අධ්යාපනයේ නිරත වන සෑම සිසු දරුවෙකුටම වැඩබිමේදී සුරක්ෂිතව තම ප්රායෝගික ක්රියාකාරම් වල නිරත වීම සඳහා ආරක්ෂිත ඇදුම් කට්ටලයක් (overall kit) නොමිලේ ලබා දීමට කටයුතු සිදු කෙරිණි.
නිපුණතා සංවර්ධන, වෘත්තීය අධ්යාපන, පර්යේෂණ හා නවනිපැයුම් රාජ්ය අමාත්ය විශේෂඥ වෛද්ය සීතා අරඹේපොල මහත්මිය පැවසුවේ තිස් දහසක් පමණ අවශ්යව ඇති අතර ඒවා වඩාත් ප්රමිතියකින් හා උසස් තත්වයකින් මසා නිම කිරීම ශ්රී ලංකා යුධ හමුදාව විසින් සිදු කරනු ලබයි.
මෙහි ප්රථම අදියර ලෙස ඉන් කොටසක් පසුගියදා අමාත්යංශයට බාර දීම ශ්රී ලංකා යුධ හමුදාව විසින් සිදු කරන ලදී.
Arrangements have been made to provide a free safety overall kit to all students studying in the technical section of vocational education institutes to safely engage in their practical activities in the workplace.
Dr. Sita Arambepola, Specialist Minister of State for Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation, said that about 30,000 units are required and that the Sri Lanka Army is finishing them with the highest standards and quality.
The Sri Lanka Army recently handed over a portion of this to the Ministry as the first phase.
