උඩුුකුඹල්වෙල කන්දේ ගින්නෙන් කිසිදු ජිවිත හානියක් නෑ – පොලිසිය
ඇල්ල, උඹුකුඹල්වෙල කන්දේ ඊයේ (18) දින හදිසි ගින්නක් හට එය මැඩපවත්වා ඇති බව පොලිසිය පවසයි.
ගින්න නිවිම සඳහා වහාම ක්‍රියාත්මක වු පොලිසිය, ආපදා කළමනාකරණ මධ්‍යස්ථානයේ නිලධාරින්, යුධ හමුදා නිලදාරින් හා ප්‍රදේශවාසින් එක්ව ඇත.
ගින්න හේතුවෙන් අක්කර 10 ක් පමණ විනාශ වී ඇති අතර කිසිදු ජිවිත හානියක් හෝ දේපල හානියක් සිදුව නොමැති බව පොලිසිය පවසයි.
සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඇල්ල පොලිසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන පවත්වනු ඇත.
A fire broke out at Umbukumbalwela Kanda in Ella yesterday (18), police said. Police and Disaster Management Center officials immediately put out the fire. Army officers and residents of the area have joined. About 10 acres have been destroyed by the fire and no casualties or property damage has been reported, police said.
Ella police are conducting further investigations.
