ශ්‍රී ලංකා වගේ සමාජ මාධ්‍ය වලින් මිනිස්සුන්ට අපහාස කරන රටක් කොහෙවත් නැති බව මහජන ආරක්ෂක ඇමති රියර් අද්මිරාල් ආචාර්ය සරත් වීරසේකර මහතා පවසයි.

අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව පැවසුවේ සෞභාග්‍යයේ නිෂ්පාදන ගම්මාන වැඩසටහන යටතේ විසිතුරු මල් වගාව හා ඒ ආශ්‍රිත නිෂ්පාදන අලෙවි අලෙවි වෙළෙඳ සංකීර්ණයට මුල්ගල තබන උත්සවයේ දීය.

එහිදී අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙසේ අදහස් පල කළේය “අපි ත්‍රීරෝද රථ ගත්තේ පොලිසියේ සාමාන්‍ය දෛනික රාජකාරින් කරන්න. උසාවියෙන් කියනවා සිතාසියක් දෙන්න කියලා. ඒකට කිලෝමීටර් දහයක් පහළොවක් යන්න වෙනවා. ඒකට ජිප් රථ යන්න ඕනෙ නෑ. පොලිසියකට ජීප් රථ තියෙන්නෙ එකයි නැත්තම් දෙකයි. ඒ අතරතුර යම්කිසි අපරාදයක් වුනොත් ඒතැනට යන්න ජිප් රථයක් නැතිවෙනවා. අනිත් එක තමා පැමිණිල්ලක් කළොත් ඒක දැනුම් දෙන්න ප්‍රකාශ සටහන් කරගන්න ගෙවල් වලට යන්න වෙනවා. පොලිස් මුරපොළවල් තියෙනවා. ඒවයේ පැය 12ක් රාජකාරි කරන නිලධාරීන් මාරු කරන්න ඕනේ. ආහාරපාන ගෙනියන්න වෙනවා. ඒ වගේ දෛනික රාජකාරි කරන්න තමයි පොලිසි වලට ත්‍රීරෝද රථ දුන්නෙ. ඒ වගේම සමහර වෙලාවට බුද්ධි තොරතුරු රැස් කරන්න වෙනවා ඒ වෙලාවට ජිප් රථවල පොලිසිය කියලා ගහගෙන යන්න බෑ. මේ වගේ දෛනික රාජකාරි විශාල සංඛ්‍යාවක් තියෙනවා. බුද්ධිමත් සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාව මේ ගැන දන්නවා. සමහරු මේ ගැන දැනගෙන අපහාස කරනවා නම් ඒක අශීලාචාර කරුණක් විදිහට තමන් දකින බවද මහජන ආරක්ෂක ඇමති රියර් අද්මිරාල් ආචාර්ය සරත් වීරසේකර මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසීය.

මෙම අවස්ථාව සදහා කොළඹ සංවර්ධන කමිටු සභාපති මෙිජර් ප්‍රදීප් උදුගොඩ කොළඹ දිසාපති ප්‍රදීප් යසරත්න හා අජිත් සුබසිංහ යන මහත්වරැන්ද සහභාගි විය.

 

 

 

 

There is no other country like Sri Lanka that insults people through FB – Minister Sarath

 

Rear Admiral Dr. Sarath Weerasekara, Minister of Public Defense says that there is no country like Sri Lanka where people are insulted on social media. The Minister said this at the ground breaking ceremony of the Ornamental Floriculture and Related Products Marketing Complex under the Prosperity Production Villages Program.

The Minister said, “We took the three-wheelers to carry out our normal daily duties of the police. The court says to give a summons. It has to go ten to fifteen kilometers. It does not have to go by jeeps. There is no jeep to go there. The other one has to go to the houses to make statements if there is a complaint. There are police checkpoints. Officers who are on duty 12 hours a day have to be transferred. Also, sometimes you have to gather intelligence. At that time, you can not call the police in jeeps. There are a large number of such daily duties. Minister of Public Defense Rear Admiral Dr. Sarath Weerasekera further stated.

Colombo Development Committee Chairman Major Pradeep Udugoda, Colombo Government Agent Pradeep Yasaratne and Ajith Subasinghe were also present on the occasion.
