රුපියල් මිලියන 1.4ක් වටිනා BiPap Mobile Type වර්ගයේ යන්ත්රයක් මෙසේ පරිත්යාග කෙරුණු අතර එය නාවික බදවා ගැනීමේ නියෝජිතයින්ගේ සංගමයේ (ASRA) සභාපති කැප්ටන් අජිත් පීරිස් මහතා විසින් මාතර මහ රෝහලේ ඖෂධවේදී සී.එස්.රාජපක්ෂ මහතා වෙත ලබාදීමට කටයුතු කරන ලදි.
16000කට අධික සක්රීය සීමන් සක්යතාවක් සහිත ඩොලර් මිලියන 500ක වාර්ෂික ආදායමක් රටට විදේශ විනිමය ලෙස ගෙන ඒමට සෘජුව මැදිහත්වන ආයතනයක් ලෙස නාවික බදවා ගැනීමේ නියෝජිතයින්ගේ සංගමය මාතර රෝහලට අද දින සිදුකළ මෙම ප්රදානය කොවිඩ් මර්දනය සදහා ඉතා වැදගත්වන බව මෙහිදී අදහස් දැක්වූ ප්රාථමික සෞඛ්ය සේවා වසංගත රෝග සහ කොවිඩ් රෝග පාලන කටයුතු රාජ්ය අමාත්ය විශේෂඥ වෛද්ය සුදර්ශිනී ප්රනාන්දුපුල්ලේ මහත්මිය සදහන් කලාය. කොවිඩ් තුන්වෙනි රැල්ල තිබෙන මේ අත්යාවශ්ය මොහොතේ රටේ ජනතාවගේ ජීවිත බේරාගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් මේ ආකාරයෙන් ඉදිරිපත්වීම පිළිබදව රජය වෙනුවෙන් තමන් ස්තුතිවන්ත වන බව මෙහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් අමාත්යවරිය සදහන් කරන ලදි.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට මෙම කටයුත්ත සම්බන්ධීකරණය කල හිටපු නාවික හමුදාපති අද්මිරල් තිසර සමරසිංහ, නාවික බදවා ගැනීමේ නියෝජිතයින්ගේ සංගමයේ විධායක කමිටු සාමාජිකයින් වන කැප්ටන් රොහාන් කොඩිප්පිලි, ජගත් පෙරේරා, සුරින්ද ද ආබෲ, සුජීව සේනාරත්න, කාලිංග ද සිල්වා යන මහත්වරු එක්ව සිටියහ.
Association of Seafarer Recruiting Agents donates Rs. 1.4 million worth of Bipap Machine to Matara General Hospital
Association of Seafarer Recruiting Agents (ASRA) donates a Bipap Machine to the Matara General Hospital for use in patients with acute respiratory distress due to Covid infection. State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and Covid Disease Control Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle participated in the event today (01) at the Ministry of Health.
A BiPac Mobile Type Machine worth Rs. 1.4 million was donated by Captain Ajith Peiris, President of the Association of Seafarer Recruiting Agents (ASRA) to Mr.C.S Rajapaksa, Pharmacist, Matara General Hospital at the occasion.
State Minister Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle stated that the donation made by the Association of Seafarer Recruiting Agents to the Matara Hospital today as an institution directly involved in bringing in $ 500 million in annual foreign exchange earnings to the country with an active seamanship capacity of over 16,000 is very important for the control of Covid. The Minister further stated that she is grateful on behalf of the government for coming forward in this manner to save the lives of the people of the country at this crucial moment of the third wave of Covid.
Former Navy Commander Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe, who coordinated the event, and members of the Executive Committee of the Association of Seafarer Recruiting Agents, Capt. Rohan Kodipilly, Jagath Perera, Surinda de Abrew, Sujeewa Senaratne and Kalinga de Silva were also present.
