ජාතික ක්‍රිස්තියානි ධර්මදාන සංගමයෙන් වෛද්‍ය උපකරණ පරිත්‍යාගයක්
ශ්රී ලංකා ජාතික ක්‍රිස්තියානි ධර්මදාන සංගමය විසින් රෝහල් පද්ධතියට අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය වන වෛද්‍ය උපකරණ තොගයක් ප්‍රාථමික සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා, වසංගත රෝග සහ කෝවිඩ් රෝග පාලන කටයුතු රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය සුදර්ශිනී ප්‍රනාන්දුපුල්ලේ මහත්මිය වෙත සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යංශයේදී පරිත්‍යාග කරනු ලැබීය.
රුපියල් මිලියන 4.6ක් වටිනා මෙම වෛද්‍ය උපකරණ තොගයට නවීනතම හයිෆ්ලෝ ඔක්සිජන් මැෂින් 02ක්, ලීටර් 10 ඔක්සිජන් කන්සන්ට්‍රේටර්ස් 02ක්, ලීටර් 5 ඔක්සිජන් කන්සන්ට්‍රේටර්ස් 06ක් සහ ඔක්සි මීටර්ස් 06ක් ඇතුළු කෝවිඩ් 19 ආසාදිත රෝගීන්ට ඇතිවන ශ්වසන අපහසුතා මගහැරවීමට ප්‍රයෝජනවත්වන අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය වෛද්‍ය උපකරණ මීට ඇතුළත්විය.
පරිත්‍යාගශීලීන්ගේ ඉල්ලීම මත නැගෙනහිර පළාතේ සහ දකුණු පළාතේ රෝහල්වලට ප්‍රමුඛතාවය ලැබෙන පරිදි මෙම වෛද්‍ය උපකරණ තොගය ලබාදීමට නියමිතය.
මෙහිදී අදහස් දැක්වූ රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය සුදර්ශිනී ප්‍රනාන්දුපුල්ලේ මහත්මිය සදහන් කර සිටියේ කෝවිඩ් වෛරසය සමග රටේ සෞඛ්‍ය සේවය සටන් කරමින් සිටින මොහොතක ජනතාවගේ ජීවීත බේරාගැනීමට මෙම උපකරණ මනා පිටිවහලක් බැවින් ඒ පිළිබදව රජය වෙනුවෙන් තමන්ගේ ස්තූතිය පුදකරන බවයි.
නැවත වතාවක් ශ්රී ලංකාවාසී සහ විදෙස්ගත ශ්රී ලාංකික දානපතියන්ට රටේ ජනතාව බේරාගැනීම සදහා උදව් උපකාර කරන්නැයි අමාත්‍යවරිය මෙහිදී ඉල්ලීමක් කළාය.
මීට පෙර තමන් විසින් මෙවැනි ඉල්ලීමක් සිදුකළ බවත් ඊට ප්‍රතිචාර දක්වමින් විශාල පිරිසක් ශ්රී ලංකාවේ රෝහල් පද්ධතිය ශක්තිමත් කිරීමට එක්වූ ආකාරය කෘතවේදීව සිහිපත් කළ අමාත්‍යවරිය උදාහරණයක් ගෙනහැර දක්වමින් දංකොටුව සහ ලුණුවිල රෝහල් කෝවිඩ් ප්‍රතිකාර කරන රෝහල් බවට පත්කිරීමට පුද්ගලික දානපතියන්ගේ මැදිහත්වීමත් රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය අරුන්දික ප්රනාන්දු මහතාගේ මැදිහත්වීමත් සිදුවූ ආකාරය සිහිපත් කළාය.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට වැවිලි කර්මාන්ත රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය අරුන්දික ප්රනාන්දු, ශ්රී ලංකා ජාතික ක්‍රිස්තියානි ධර්මදාන සංගමයේ ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් මහේෂ් ඩි මෙල්, එහි අධ්යක්ෂ රඝුබාලචන්ද්‍රන් යන මහත්වරු එක්විය.
National Christian Alliance donates Rs. 4.6 million worth medical equipment for Covid control It is a great help to save lives said Dr.Sudarshini Fernandopulle
A stock of essential medical equipment for the hospitals to treat patients at a time when the Covid virus is spreading rapidly in Sri Lanka was donated by the National Christian Alliance of Sri Lanka at the Ministry of Health to Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle, State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and Covid Disease Control.
The medical equipment worth Rs. 4.6 million includes two High flow Oxygen machines, 02 nos 10L Oxygen Concentrators, 06 nos 5L Oxygen Concentrators and 06 Oxymeters and other essential medical equipment that could be used to treat respiratory problems in patients with Covid 19 infection.
At the request of donors, this stock of medical equipment will be provided to hospitals in the Eastern and Southern Provinces as a matter of priority.
State Minister Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle expressed her gratitude on behalf of the government as these devices are a great help in saving the lives of the people at a time when the country’s health service is battling the Covid virus.
Once again, the Minister requested the Sri Lankan donors living in Sri Lanka and abroad to assist in rescuing the people of the country. She recalled with gratitude that a number of donors had supported hospitals in response to her previous request. Citing an example, the Minister recalled the intervention of donors and the State Minister Arundika Fernando in converting Dankotuwa and Lunuwila hospitals into Covid treatment hospitals.
State Minister of Plantation Industries Arundika Fernando, General Secretary of the National Christian Alliance of Sri Lanka Mahesh de Mel and its Director Raghu Balachandran, were present on the occasion.
