බැසිල්ට මුදල් .. මහින්ද ආර්ථික ප්‍රතිපත්ති අමාත්‍යවරයා ලෙස දිවුරුම් දෙයි…
නව මුදල් අමාත්‍යවරයා ලෙස බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා අද (08) පෙරවරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේ දී ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ඉදිරියේ දිවුරුම් දුන් බව ජනාධිපති මාධ්‍ය අංශය පවසයි.
අමාත්‍යාංශ විෂය පථ සංශෝධනයත් සමග අග්රාමාත්ය මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ආර්ථික ප්‍රතිපත්ති හා සැලසුම් ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමේ අමාත්‍යවරයා ලෙස දිවුරුම් දෙනු ලැබීය.
ශ්රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ පත් කළ මන්ත්‍රී, ජයන්ත කැටගොඩ මහතා ඉල්ලා අස්වීමෙන් පුරප්පාඩු වූ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී ධුරය සඳහා ශ්රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ ජාතික සංවිධායක, බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ නම පක්ෂයේ ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් සාගර කාරියවසම් මහතා විසින් මැතිවරණ කොමිසමට ලිඛිතව දැනුම් දෙනු ලැබිණ.
ඒ අනුව මැතිවරණ කොමිසම ඊයේ (07), බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙකු ලෙස තෝරා පත්කරගත් බව ගැසට් නිවේදනයක් මගින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කළේය.
2007 වසරේ ජාතික ලැයිස්තුවෙන් පත් කළ මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙකු ලෙස බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා පළමු වරට පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට පිවිසියේය. අනතුරුව 2010 වසරේ පැවති මහ මැතිවරණයේ දී ශ්රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්ෂයෙන් තරග වැද පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට පිවිසි බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය ධුරය හෙබවීය.
අමාත්‍ය නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ, ජනාධිපති ලේකම් පී.බී. ජයසුන්දර, ජනාධිපති ප්‍රධාන උපදේශක ලලිත් වීරතුංග, අග්රාමාත්ය ලේකම් ගාමිණී සෙනරත්, පුෂ්පා රාජපක්ෂ යන මහත්ම මහත්මීහූ මේ අවස්ථාවට එක්ව සිටියහ.

Basil Rajapaksa was sworn in as the new Minister of Finance before President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (08), the Presidential Media Unit said.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa was sworn in as the Minister of Economic Policy and Plan Implementation with the revision of the scope of the Ministry.
Basil Rajapaksa, the National Organizer of the Sri Lanka People’s Front (SLPP) has been informed in writing by the party’s General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jayantha Ketagoda, a Member of Parliament appointed by the SLFP.
Accordingly, the Election Commission yesterday (07) announced in a gazette notification that Basil Rajapaksa has been elected as a Member of Parliament.
Basil Rajapaksa entered Parliament for the first time in 2007 as a Member of Parliament from the National List. Subsequently, Basil Rajapaksa contested the 2010 General Elections from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and entered Parliament as the Minister of Economic Development.
Minister Namal Rajapaksa, Secretary to the President PB Jayasundera, Chief Adviser to the President Lalith Weeratunga, Secretary to the Prime Minister Gamini Senarath and Pushpa Rajapaksa were also present.
