කොවිඩ් මුව ආවරණය පැළඳ නොසිටීම හේතුවෙන් පොලිසිය විසින් පුද්ගලයෙකුට පහර දී රැගෙන යාමට තැත් කිරීමේ ඔහුගේ දියණිය පියාගේ උකුලේ වාඩි වී පියාව රැගෙන යාම වලක්වා ඇති බව විදේස් මාධ්‍ය වාර්තා කරයි.
විදෙස් මාධ්‍ය වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කර සිටියේ වයස අවුරුදු 31 හැවිරිදි පියා ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාවේ, සිඩ්නි හි ජෝර්ජ් ශාලාවේ ඇවිද යන මාවතකදී අතරදී මෙලෙස පොලිසිය විසන් අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට තැත් කර ඇති බවයි.
විදෙස් මාධ්‍ය සඳහන් කර සිටියේ පොලිස් නිලධාරින් ඔහු සමඟ කතා කරන විට ඔහු වචනයෙන් අපහාස කළ බවත්, ආක්‍රමණශීලී බවත් පොලිසිය චෝදනා කර සිට ඇති බවයි.
පසුව ඔහුගේ දෑත් පිටුපසට කර මාංචු දමා උද්‍යානයක බිම වැතිරී සිටි නිසා ඔහුගේ වයස අවුරුදු තුන හතරක් පමණ වූ ඔහුගේ දියණිය සනසන්නට මිනිසාට නොහැකි වි ඇත. අදාළ සිදුවම දැක එම මාර්ගයේ තැනැත්තෙකු පොලිසිය වෙත පවසා ඇත්තේ අදාළ දියණිය බයට පත්ව ඇති බවත් මෙම අවස්ථාවේදී මෙහිදී එම දරුවා බාර ගැනීමට කිසිවෙකු නොමැති හෙයින් අදාළ පුද්ගලයාව නිදහස් කරන ලෙසයි.
එහිදී දියණිය විසින් පියාගේ උකුල මත වාඩි වී අඩමින් සිට ඇති අතර පොලිස් නිලාධාරින් විසින් තරයේ අවවාද කර එම පුද්ගලයාව නිදහස් කල බව විදෙස් මාධ්‍ය වාර්තා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කර සිටි.
Desperate little girl sits on handcuffed dad’s lap to stop police taking him away
The young daughter of a man being berated by police for not wearing a mask in a Covid hotspot has been captured in a video sitting on her dad’s lap to stop police taking him away.
The 31-year-old dad had reportedly been stopped by police on a walking path in George’s Hall, south-west Sydney, on Saturday afternoon, when they noticed he was not wearing a mask.
According to Daily Mail reports, Police alleged he became verbally abusive and aggressive toward the officers when they spoke to him.
‘Officers warned the man on multiple occasions about his conduct before he was arrested,’ NSW Police said.
The man was unable to comfort his daughter, who appeared to be around three or four years in age, as he was handcuffed with his arms behind his back, sprawled on the ground in a park.
A clip of video shot by a passerby who stopped to see what was going on, shows the man yelling while the officer attempted to diffuse the situation.
The man filming offered his two cents, saying, “come on guys, be fair a little bit”.
“He’s got a daughter here, she is by herself. Look, the little girl is scared man,” he said.
The man filming is told to calm down, while police say they will explain the situation to him after they have finished speaking to the father.
The officer’s explanation that the man has “committed an offense” is rebuked by the passerby, who claims he has “[seen] everything” and has not witnessed anything wrong.
Speaking up again, the father tells one of the officers he will not talk to them until his daughter is standing by his side. At this, the officer gestures to the little girl to return to her father.
