ලෝකයේ පවතින කොරෝනා වසංගතයක් සමඟ ජනතාවගේ ආර්ථිකය පහල මට්ටමකට පවතින අවස්ථාවේදී තෙල් මිල ඉහල දැමිම නිසා ජනතාව අතර විරෝධතාවය පල කර සිටි.

කෙසේ වෙතත් දේශපාලන පක්ෂ පවා මේ වන විට ඉන්ධන මිල ඉහල යාම උදය ගම්මන්පිල ඇමැතිවරයාගේ වගකීම පටවමින් සිටිනු ඇත.

ආණ්ඩු පක්ෂයේ ප්‍රධාන කණ්ඩායම වන පොදු ජන පෙරමුණ පවා පවසා සිටියේ මෙම අවස්ථාවේදී ඉන්ධන මිල ඉහළ යාම සිදු නොවිය යුතු දෙයක් බවත් එයට වගකිව යුතු අමාත්‍යවරයා ඉල්ලා අස්විය යුතු බවයි.

විපක්ෂනායකවරයා පසුගියදා පවසා සිටියේ උදය ගම්මන්පිල අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙයට තනිව වගකිව යුතු නැති බවත් එය සමස්ත ආණ්ඩුව විසින්ම වගකීම භාර ගත යුතු බවයි.

නමුත් විපක්ෂයේ මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් විසින් මේ වන විට උදය ගම්මන්පිල හට විශ්වාසභංගයක් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට කටයුතු කර ඇති බව එම පක්ෂයේ අශෝක අබේසිංහ විසින් පවසා සිටියේ.

මෙම තත්ත්වය කෙසේ වෙතත් දේශපාලන ආරංචි මාර්ග පවසා සිටින්නේ මෙය බොහෝ විට එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂය නියෝජනය කරමින් එහි ජාතික ලැස්තුවෙන් රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ පාර්ලිමේන්තු පැමිණිමට එරෙහිව දියත් කරන සටනක් බව බවයි. රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ දුර දිග බලා කටයුතු කරන කෙනෙකු බවත් පසුගිය මැතිවරණයෙන් ජය ගැනීමට උත්සහා නොකලේද රටේ පවතින දැවැන්ත අර්බුධ රාජපක්ෂවරුන් විසින් අනා ගැනීමට දීම සඳහා බවයි.

මෙම මස අවසාන විමට පෙර රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ මන්ත්‍රී ධුරයේ දිවුරුම් දීමට නියමිතයි.

රනිල් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට එන බව දැන ගත වහාම විපක්ෂනායකවරයා ලෙස කටයුතු කරන සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස විසින් මන්ත්‍රී කණ්ඩායම ගෙන්වා තමාට එරෙහි නොවන බව අත්සන් ලබා ගැනීමක් සිදු කලේය.

සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස යනු අමු මෝඩයෙක් බව ඇතැම් දේශපාලන විචාරකයින් පවසා සිටින්නේ ඔහුගේ ඇතැම් නොමනා වචන හුවමාරුවෙනි. මන්ද පසුගිය කාලයේදී ඔහුගේ පක්ෂයේ සිටි ඩයනා ආණ්ඩුවට ගිය අවස්ථාවේදී ඩයනවාගේ පක්ෂ සාමාජිකත්ව හෝ මන්ත්‍රී ධුරය අහෝසි කිරීමට හැකියාවක් නොමැති විය. ඒ අනුව ජනතා ඡන්දයෙන් පත්වු මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් රැදී යැයි සිතා අත්සන් ලබා ගැනීම කිසිදු ඵලක් නොමැති ක්‍රියාවලකි.

ඇතැම් දේශපාලන විචාරකයින් පවසා සිටින්නේ සජිත් පිලේ සිටින සියළුම මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් රනිල් ළග සිටගැනීමට පසුපට නොවන බවයි. කෙසේ වෙතත් රනිල් ගේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු ගමන ඔහුගේ හිතවත් මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂට අවශ්‍ය වුවාට බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂටනම් එය හිසරදයක් වී ඇති බව දැනගන්නට ඇත.

ඒ හේතුවෙන් බැසිල් විසින් මේ වන විට ආණ්ඩුවට මෙන්ම පක්ෂයට හිසරදයක්ව ඇති සුළු පක්ෂ ඉවත් කිරීමේ මෙහෙයුම අරඹා ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ. එම සුළු පක්ෂ ආණ්ඩුවෙන් ඉවත්ව පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ විපක්ෂයේ සිටියහොත් රනිල් හට විපක්ෂනායකත්වය අහිමිවනු ඇති බවත් ඒ තුලින් බැසිල්ගේ දේශපාලන යළි ඇරඹිමට හැකියාව පවතිනු ඇති බව දේශපාලන විචාරකයින් වැඩිදුරටත් පවසා සිටියේය.
