මුදල්, නගර සංවර්ධන හා නිවාස , බුද්ධ ශාසන, ආගමික හා සංස්කෘතික කටයුතු ඇතුළු අග්රාමාත්යවරයා යටතේ පැවැති අමාත්යංශ කිහිපයක විෂය පථයන් වෙනස් කරමින් ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා විසින් අතිවිශේෂ ගැසට් නිවේදනයක් නිකුත්කර තිබේ.
එසේම ආර්ථික ප්රතිපත්ති හා සැළසුම් ක්රියාත්මක කිරීමේ අමාත්යාංශය නමින් නව අමාත්යාංශයක්ද මේ ගැසට් නිවේදනය මගින් ස්ථාපනය කර ඇත.
එම අමාත්යංශයට ජාතික ක්රම සම්පාදන දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව, ජන හා සංඛ්යාලේකන දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව, මහජන උපයෝගිතා කොමිසම ඇතුළු ආයතන 10 ක් ඊට ඇතුළත් කර තිබේ.

Changes the scope of several ministries
President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has issued a special gazette notification changing the portfolios of several ministries under the Prime Minister, including Finance, Urban Development and Housing, Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs.
Also, a new Ministry named Economic Policy and Plan Implementation Ministry has been established by this Gazette Notification.
The Ministry has 10 institutions including the Department of National Planning, the Department of Census and Statistics and the Public Utilities Commission.
