ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ එකම දේශීය සිමෙන්ති නිෂ්පාදකයා වන INSEE සිමෙන්ති සමාගම තම සිමෙන්ති නිෂ්පාදන පරිමාව අඛණ්ඩව ඒ ආකාරයෙන් ම වෙළෙඳපොළට සැපයීමට සමත් වී ඇත.
ඒ සඳහා තම නිෂ්පාදන කටයුතු උපරිම නිෂ්පාදන ධාරිතාවට ගෙන ඒමට කටයුතු කර ඇත. මෙරට ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ සිමෙන්ති ආනයනකරුවන් කිහිප දෙනෙකු ම වර්තමානයේ පවතින සිමෙන්ති ඉල්ලුම සපුරාලීම සීමා කිරීමේ ප්‍රතිඵලයක් ලෙස දැනට රට තුළ පවතින සිමෙන්ති හිඟය අවම කිරීම සඳහා INSEE සිමෙන්ති සමාගම මෙම පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.
මෑතකාලීනව ශ්‍රී ලංකා රුපියලෙහි අගය අවප්‍රමාණ වීමත් සමඟ ම, ආනයන පිරිවැය ඉහළ යාම නිසා ඇතැම් සිමෙන්ති ආනයනකරුවන් තම ආනයනික සිමෙන්ති නිෂ්පාදන, වෙළෙඳපොළ වෙත නිකුත් කිරීම සීමා කර ඇති අතර, එමඟින් මෙරට වෙළෙඳපොළ තුළ සිමෙන්ති හිඟයක් නිර්මාණය විය. මේ වන විට ටොන් මිලියන 3.6 ක පූර්ණ නිෂ්පාදන ධාරිතාවකින් යුතුව ක්‍රියාත්මක වන INSEE සිමෙන්ති සමාගම සිය වේගවත්, සැපයුම් හා බෙදා හැරීමේ ජාලය යොදාගනිමින් දේශීය සිමෙන්ති වෙළෙඳපොළ යථා තත්ත්වයට පත් කිරීමට කටයුතු කළ අතර, එමගින් මෙරට ඉදිකිරීම් ක්ෂේත්‍රය අනවශ්‍ය ලෙස අපහසුතාවන්ට ලක්වීම ද වළක්වාගැනීමට සමත් විය. එමෙන් ම මේ වන විට ක්‍රියාත්මක වෙමින් පවතින මධ්‍යම අධිවේගී මාර්ගය, වාරිමාර්ග ව්‍යාපෘති වැනි සුවිශේෂී ඉදිකිරීම් හා යටිතල පහසුකම් ව්‍යාපෘති අඛණ්ඩව පවත්වාගෙන යාම සඳහා මාර්ග සංවර්ධන අධිකාරිය, නාගරික සංවර්ධන අධිකාරිය, ගොඩනැගිලි ද්‍රව්‍ය සංස්ථාව, ජාතික නිවාස සංවර්ධන අධිකාරිය වැනි රාජ්‍ය ආයතනවලට මහත් ශක්තියක් වීමට INSEE සිමෙන්ති සමාගමට හැකියාව ලැබිණි. එම සමාගමේ මව් සමාගම ද නිෂ්පාදන කටයුතු සඳහා අවශ්‍ය අමුද්‍රව්‍ය අඛණ්ඩව සපයමින් මෙම අභියෝගය ජයගැනීම සඳහා සහයෝගය ලබාදුන් බව ද සිහිපත් කළ යුතුමය.
INSEE සිමෙන්ති සමාගමේ ප්‍රධාන විධායක නිලධාරි ගුස්ටාවෝ නවරෝ මහතා අදහස් දැක්වූයේ මේ අයුරිණි.
“INSEE සිමෙන්ති සමාගම වසර 50 ක් තිස්සේ ශ්‍රී ලාංකික වෙළෙඳපොළට සේවා සපයමින්, අද වන විට පාරිභෝගික ආදරය සහ ආකර්ෂණය වැඩියෙන් ම දිනා ගත් සිමෙන්ති වෙළෙඳ නාමය බවට පත් වෙලා තිබෙනවා. වසර ගණනාවක් තිස්සේ දිනාගෙන රැකගත් පාරිභෝගික විශ්වාසය සමගින් දිනෙන් දින දියුණුව කරා යාමට අපට හැකියාව ලැබුණා. ඒ වගේම අපගේ දියුණුවත් සමඟම රටේ මහාපරිමාණ සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘතිවල කොටස්කරුවන් වීමටත් අපට අවස්ථාව ලැබුණා. ඕනෑම අභියෝගාත්මක කාලයකදී වුණත්, පාරිභෝගික අධිකාරියේ මිල නියාමනයන්ට යටත්ව, වෙළෙඳපොළ සිමෙන්ති අවශ්‍යතාවන් සැපිරීමට INSEE සිමෙන්ති සමාගමට හැකියාව තිබෙන බව මම අවධාරණය කිරීමට කැමතියි.”
“මේ දිනවල සිමෙන්ති ආනයන කරුවන් මේ රටේ වෙළෙඳපොළ වෙත තම නිෂ්පාදන සැපයීම සීමා කර තිබෙනවා. ඒ තුළින් නිර්මාණය වුණු අවස්ථාව ප්‍රයෝජනයට ගනිමින් දේශීය සිමෙන්ති නිෂ්පාදන කර්මාන්තය නගාසිටුවීම සඳහා INSEE සිමෙන්ති ආයතනය පෙරමුණ ගන්නවා. මෙවැනි අභියෝගාත්මක කාල වකවානුවලදී රටට අඛණ්ඩව සහයෝගය ලබාදීමට අපි නිරන්තරයෙන් කටයුතු කරනවා. ඒ වගේම කෙටි කාලීනව මෙන් ම දීර්ඝ කාලීනව ද අපගේ නිෂ්පාදන ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ අගයන් ආරක්ෂා කර ගැනීමට අපි සියලුම පාර්ශ්වයන් සමග සහයෝගයෙන් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන බවත් පැවසීමට කැමතියි.” යනුවෙන් නවාරෝ මහතා වැඩි දුරටත් පැවසුවේය.
ගාල්ලේ සිමෙන්ති ටොන් මිලියන 1.5 ක්, පුත්තලමේ සිමෙන්ති ටොන් මිලියන 1.3ක් සහ කොළඹ සිමෙන්ති පර්යන්තයේ ටොන් මිලියන 0.8ක් වශයෙන් සිමෙන්ති නිශ්පාදන ධාරිතාවන් තිබෙන හෙයින් රට තුළ ඇති වී තිබෙන සිමෙන්ති හිඟයෙන් පීඩාවට පත් ඉදිකිරීම් කරුවන් සහ අනෙකුත් පාර්ශවකරුවන්ට ශක්තියක් වෙමින් INSEE සිමෙන්ති සමාගම සිය වෙළෙඳපොළ පුළුල් කරගැනීමට කටයුතු කරමින් සිටින අතර, ඒ වෙනුවෙන් තම සියලුම මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතු පුළුල් කිරීමට ද කටයුතු කොට තිබේ.
INSEE Cement Running at Full Production Capacity to Meet Local Demand
Maintains continuous supply to local market with non-stop, optimum production at Galle and Puttalam cement plants and its import terminal in Colombo Port
INSEE Cement – Sri Lanka’s only local cement manufacturer continues to supply its range of retail and industrial cement products to the market and geared up its production to full capacity. This, to reduce the currently experiencing product shortage in the country as a result of several cement importers refusing to meet the demand.
Along with the recent depreciation of the LKR, some cement importers have refused to release their goods based on increased import costs, creating an artificial scarcity in the market. Currently running at a 3.6 million ton full production capacity, INSEE Cement is stepping up its express logistics, delivery channels and bulk carrier fleet to ensure the recovering local construction industry is not needlessly and negatively impacted by any potential shortage of cement, which is listed under essential commodities with a fixed MRP. INSEE Cement is especially focussing on serving the critical infrastructure projects and government institutions, such as Central expressway, irrigation projects, RDA & UDA, and BMC/NHDA, to enable progress of projects as planned. This is also supported by our parent company by providing uninterrupted material supplies.
