ශ්රී ලංකාවේ නව ආයෝජන අවස්ථා සඳහා සහාය වන්න – ජනපති රනිල් මාලදිවයින් උප ජනපතිට කියයි
ජනාධිපති රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා සහ මාලදිවයින් උප ජනාධිපති ෆයිසාල් නසීම් (Faisal Naseem) මහතා අතර හමුවක් ඊයේ (02) පස්වරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේදී සිදු විය.
ජනාධිපතිවරයා විසින් මාලදිවයින් උප ජනාධිපතිවරයාව ඉතා සුහදශීලිව පිළිගත් අතර සුහද කථා බහකින් අනතුරුව නායකයන් අතර ද්වීපාර්ශ්වික සාකච්ඡා ආරම්භ කෙරිණි.
මාලදිවයින සහ ශ්රී ලංකාව අතර පවතින දීර්ඝ කාලීන මිත්‍රත්වය පදනම් කර ගනිමින් ශ්රී ලංකාවේ නව ආයෝජන අවස්ථා සඳහා සහාය වන ලෙස මෙහිදී මාලදිවයින් උප ජනාධිපතිවරයාගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටී ජනාධිපති රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා කෘෂිකර්මාන්තය නවීකරණය කිරීමේ ක්‍රියාවලියේ දී මෙන්ම අධි සුඛෝපබෝගි සේවා භුක්තිවිඳින සංචාරකයන් මෙරටට ආකර්ශණය කර ගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් ලබාදිය හැකි සහාය පිළිබඳව ද මාලදිවයින් උප ජනාධිපතිවරයා දැනුවත් කළේය.
යෝජිත දේශගුණික විපර්යාස පිළිබඳ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය ශ්රී ලංකාවේ ස්ථාපිත කිරීමේ ප්‍රයත්නය සමඟ එක්වන ලෙස ද ජනාධිපතිවරයා මාලදිවයින් උප ජනාධිපතිවරයාගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේය.
ඉන්දියන් සාගර කලාපයට බලපා ඇති මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය උවදුර පිළිබඳවත්, එය මැඩලීම සඳහා එක්ව කටයුතු කිරිම පිළිබඳවත් මෙහිදී නායක දෙපළ සාකච්ඡා කළහ.
Maldivian Vice President calls on President Wickremesinghe
The Maldivian Vice President Faisal Naseem called on President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (02).
Considering the long-standing friendship between the Maldives and Sri Lanka, President Ranil Wickremesinghe requested the Maldives to invest in Sri Lanka’s high-tech agriculture sector, cruise tourism and high-end tourism sectors.
President Wickremesinghe also requested the Maldives to join hands with Sri Lanka in establishing the climate change university.
The duo also discussed the growing drug menace affecting this region and President Ranil Wickremesinghe sought the assistance of the Maldives in combatting the drug scourge.
President Wickremesinghe also told the Maldivian Vice President that he intends to invite the Maldivian President to Sri Lanka once his residence, which was destroyed during the July protests, is rebuilt.
