උත්සව සඳහා හෙට සිට අවසර නෑ – රජයේ ප්‍රවෘත්ති දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව
2021 අගෝස්තු 17 වනදා මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රියේ සිට නැවත දැනුම්දෙන තුරු නිවෙස්වල හෝ උත්සව ශාලාවල හෝ විවාහ මංගල්‍යය උත්සව සඳහා අවසර නොලැබෙන බව රජයේ ප්‍රවෘත්ති දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව පවසයි.
එම දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කරමින් පවසා සිටින්නේ කොරෝනා වසංගතය හේතුවෙන් මෙම තීරණය ගෙන ඇති බවයි. ඒසේම අද (15) මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රී සිට ජනයා ඒකරාශිවන කිසිදු අවස්ථාවකටද අවසර නැති බව දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව කියා සිටියේය.
අවන්හල්වල වරකට රැස්ව සිටිය හැක්කේ ඒවායේ ධාරිතාවෙන් 50% කට නොවැඩි පිරිසකට පමණි. එසේ වුවද ප්‍රසිද්ධ ස්ථානවල ගැවසීමෙන් හැකිතාක් දුරට වලක්වන්නැයි රජය ඉල්ලා සිටින බව යුධ හමුදාපති ජනරාල් ශවේන්ද්‍ර සිල්වා මහතා පවසා සිටි බව රජයේ ප්‍රවෘත්ති දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කර සිටි.
No event allowed from tomorrow – Government Information Department
The Department of Government Information says that wedding ceremonies will not be allowed in homes or ballrooms from midnight on August 17, 2021 until further notice.
The department said in a statement that the decision was taken due to the corona epidemic. The department also stated that no gathering of people will be allowed from midnight today (15).
Restaurants can only cater to no more than 50% of their capacity at a time. However, the government is requesting the public to refrain from visiting public places as much as possible, said Army Commander General Shavendra Silva.
