ආණ්ඩුව රට අගාධයට ඇද දමලා දේශපාලන සෙල්ලමක් කරමින් ඉන්නවා වගේම විපක්ෂය ඇතුළු පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ ඉන්න බොහෝ දෙනා ප්‍රශ්ණය මගහරිමින් මහ ජනතාව සමග දේශපාලන ක්‍රීඩාවේ යෙදෙමින් සිටින බව වෘත්තීය සමිති හා බහුජන සංවිධාන එකමුතුව සභාපති රවී කුමුදේශ් මහතා පවසයි.
ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ ජනාධිපතිවරයා අසමත් බව ඔප්පු වී අවසන් බවත් මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ආණ්ඩුව රට වලකට ඇදලා දැම්ම බව සියළු දෙනා දන්නා බව හෙතෙම පැවසිය. තමන්ගේ දක්ෂතාවය පෙන්වන්න විපක්ෂයට ලැබිලා තියන අවස්ථාව මග හරුමින් ඉන්න බව තමයි පැහැදිලිව පෙනෙනට ඇති බව කුමුදේශ් මහතා පැවසිය.
රටේ සියළු පුරවැසියන් ආණ්ඩුවට යන්න කියද්දී, පාර්ලිමේන්තු ක්‍රමය තුල විකල්ප් නායක්ත්වයක් සැපයීම අපේක්ෂා කරන්නේ විපක්ෂ නායකවරයා ප්‍රමුඛ කණ්ඩායමෙන්. ඒක මග හරින්අ එක ජන අරගලයට කරන පිටුපෑමක්.
ජන අරගලය ජයග්‍රහණය කරවීම, පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ ඉන්න විපක්ෂයේ සියළු මන්ත්‍රීවරුන්ගේ වගකීමක්. ඒකට උර දෙන්නේ නැති, ඒ අරගලය ජයග්‍රහණය කරවීමේ වගගීම මගහරින කිසිවෙකු හෝ මේ පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට නැවත පැමිණිය යුතු නෑ. මේ වෙලාවේ රටේ තියන සැබෑ ප්‍රශ්ණය මගහරින කිසිවෙකු හෝ රටේ නායකයෙකු ලෙස පිළි ගැනීමට නොහැකි බව සියළු දෙනා සිහි තබා ගත යුතු බව රවී කුමුදේශ් මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියේය.
Not only the government but also the opposition has no responsibility
The government is playing a political game by dragging the country into the abyss and many in Parliament, including the Opposition, are avoiding the issue and engaging in political games with the masses.
It has been proved that President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has failed. We all know that the Mahinda Rajapaksa government has dragged the country into a pit.
It is clear that the Opposition still missed out on a great opportunity to show its mettle.
When all the citizens of the country say no to the present government, the opposition is expected to provide alternative leadership.
That is the parliamentary tradition known to the people of the country and the world.
But our opposition is avoiding it. It is an underestimation of the people’s struggle as well as the misfortune of the youth
It is the responsibility of all Members of the Opposition in Parliament to win the people’s struggle.
No one who does not shoulder it and avoids the responsibility of making that struggle a success should not come to our Parliament in the future.
Everyone should keep in mind that anyone who fishes in turbulent waters at this time is unworthy to be accepted as a leader of this country in the future.
