වයස 30ට වැඩි බස්නාහිර සියලු දෙනාට ජූලි 31ට පෙර එන්නතකරණය කරන්න – ජනපති
වයස අවුරුදු 30ට වැඩි බස්නාහිර පළාතේ සියලු දෙනාට ජූලි 31ට පෙර එන්නත ලබාදී අවසන් කරන්නැයි ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා සෞඛ්‍ය අංශ වෙත දැනුම් දෙයි.
මේ වන විට කොළඹ දිස්ත්රික්කයේ මෙම වයස් කාණ්ඩයේ 60%කටත්, ගම්පහ 47%කට සහ කළුතර 34%කට පළමු මාත්‍රාව ලබා දී තිබේ.
ඇණවුම් සම්පූර්ණ කර ඇති එන්නත් ලැබීමත් සමඟ විධිමත් සැලැස්මක් යටතේ, සැප්තැම්බර් මසට පෙර දිවයිනේ සියලු ප්‍රදේශවල ඉහළ ප්‍රතිශතයකට එන්නත ලබාදීමේ අවශ්‍යතාව ද ජනාධිපතිවරයා අවධාරණය කළේය.
එන්නත්කරණය සහ ඉදිරි මෙහෙයුම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් කොවිඩ් මර්ධන විශේෂ කමිටුව සමඟ අද (02) පෙරවරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේ පැවති හමුවේදී ජනාධිපතිවරයා විසින් මෙම උපදෙස් දෙනු ලැබිණ.
දෙවන මාත්‍රාව සඳහා අවශ්‍ය “ඇස්ට්‍රාසෙනිකා” එන්නත් ප්‍රමාණය ඉක්මණින් ලැබෙනු ඇතැයි ජනාධිපතිවරයා විශ්වාසය පළ කළේය. ඒ අනුව ඇස්ට්‍රාසෙනිකා එන්නත ලබාගෙන ඇති සියලු දෙනාට එහි දෙවන මාත්‍රාව විධිමත් ආකාරයෙන් ලබාදීමට සැලසුම් කරන්නැයි ද ජනාධිපතිතුමා සෞඛ්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ට උපදෙස් දුන්නේය.
ඇස්ට්‍රාසෙනිකා එන්නත ලබාගත් අයෙකුට සති 45ක් යනතෙක් එහි දෙවන මාත්‍රාව ලබාගැනීමේ හැකියාව ලෝක සෞඛ්‍ය සංවිධානය නිර්දේශ කර ඇතැයි, කොවිඩ් මර්ධන විශේෂ කමිටුවේ සාමාජික විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය, ප්‍රසන්න ගුණසේන මහතා විසින් පෙන්වා දෙනු ලැබිණ.
පසුගිය සඳුදා සිට රෝහල් තුළදී එන්නත්කරණය ඇරැඹීමත් සමඟ ඉතා කෙටි කාලයකදී විශාල පිරිසකට කොවිඩ් එන්නත ලබාදීමට හැකිවී තිබේ. දිවයින පුරා එම ක්‍රමවේදය අඛණ්ඩව ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට ද පියවර ගෙන ඇත.

Vaccinate all Westerners over the age of 30 before July 31 – President
President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has instructed the health sector to vaccinate all those over the age of 30 in the Western Province before July 31. So far 60% of this age group in the Colombo District, 47% in Gampaha and 34% in Kalutara have been given the first dose.
The President also emphasized the need to provide a high percentage of vaccinations in all parts of the country before September, under a formal plan, with the receipt of completed vaccines.
The President gave these instructions during a meeting with the Special Committee on Kovid Suppression on vaccination and future operations at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (02).
The President expressed confidence that the required dose of AstraZeneca vaccine for the second dose would be available soon. Accordingly, the President instructed the health officials to make arrangements to give the second dose of AstraZeneca in a systematic manner to all those who have been vaccinated.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended that a person receiving an astragalus vaccine receive a second dose within 45 weeks, according to Dr. Prasanna Gunasena, a member of the Special Committee on the Control of Kovid.
With the commencement of vaccinations in hospitals since last Monday, the Kovid vaccine has been able to be given to a large number of people in a very short period of time. Steps have also been taken to continue to implement this methodology throughout the island.
Ministers Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Gamini Lokuge, Bandula Gunawardena, Keheliya Rambukwella, Johnston Fernando, Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Ramesh Pathirana, State Ministers Sudarshani Fernandopulle, Channa Jayasumana Secretary (Retired) Major General Specialist Dr. Sanjeewa Munasinghe, Commanders of the Navy and Air Force, Inspector General of Police and Heads of Health were also present.
