නව මහ කොමසාරිස්වරියක්, තානාපතිවරයෙක් සහ සභාපතිවරු දෙදෙනෙක් පත් කිරීම් සඳහා උසස් නිලතල පිළිබඳ කාරක සභාවේ අනුමැතිය පසුගියදා (20) හිමි වූ බව පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ මහ ලේකම් ධම්මික දසනායක මහතා පවසයි.

ඒ අනුව, ඕස්ට්‍රේලියා පොදුරාජ්‍යමණ්ඩලීය රාජ්‍යයේ නව ශ්‍රී ලංකා මහ කොමසාරිස්වරිය ලෙස චිත්‍රාංගනී වාගීස්වර මහත්මිය පත් කිරීමටත් ඊශ්‍රායල් රාජ්‍යයේ නව ශ්‍රී ලංකා තානාපතිවරයා ලෙස එම්.එච්.එම්.එන්.බණ්ඩාර මහතාගේ පත්වීමටද උසස් නිලතල පිළිබඳ කාරක සභාව අනුමතිය ලබාදී තිබේ.

එමෙන්ම, කෘෂිකර්ම අමාත්‍යාංශයේ නව ලේකම්වරයා ලෙස ගුණදාස සමරසිංහ මහතාගේ පත්වීමද උසස් නිලතල පිළිබඳ කාරක සභාව අනුමත කළ බව දසනායක මහතා පැවසීය.

එයට අමතරව, මාර්ග සංවර්ධන අධිකාරියේ නව සභාපතිවරයා ලෙස සී.පී.අතුලුවගේ මහතාගේ පත්වීම සහ සංවර්ධන ලොතරැයි මණ්ඩලයේ නව සභාපතිවරයා ලෙස එන්.කේ.ඒ.ජී. නාරගල මහතාගේ පත්වීමද උසස් නිලතල පිළිබඳ කාරක සභාව අනුමත කළ බව මහ ලේකම්වරයා පැවසිය.

Committee on High Posts approves the appointment of a new High Commissioner, an ambassador and two Chairpersons.

Mr. Dhammika Dasanayake, Secretary General of the Parliament, said that the Committee on High Posts approved the appointment of a new High Commissioner, an ambassador and two Chairpersons recently (20).

Accordingly, Ms. Chitranganee Wagiswara received the approval of the Committee on High Posts to be appointed as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the Commonwealth of Australia.

Moreover, the Committee on High Posts approved the appointment of Mr. M. H. M. N. Bandara as the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the State of Israel.

Mr. Dhammika Dasanayake further stated that the Committee on High Posts approved the appointment of Mr. Gunadasa Samarasinghe as the Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Secretary General of the Parliament further informed that the Committee also approved the appointments of Mr. C. P. Athuluwage as the Chairman of the Road Development Authority and Mr. N. K. A. G. Naragala as the Chairman of the Development Lotteries Board.

The Committee on High Posts met in the Parliament recently (20) under the chairmanship of the Speaker Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana.
