ඉන්දීය නාවික හමුදාවට අයත් ‘INS Karanj’ සබ්මැරීනය නිල සංචාරයක් සඳහා අද (03) උදෑසන කොළඹ වරායට සේන්දු විය. ශ්‍රී ලංකා නාවික හමුදාව විසින් එම සබ්මැරීනය නාවික හමුදා සම්ප්‍රදායානුකුලව පිළිගැනීමට කටයුතු කෙරිණි.

මෙලෙස කොළඹ වරායට සේන්දු වූ ‘INS Karanj’සබ්මැරීනය, දිගින් මීටර් 67.5 ක් හා නැව් මුළුව 53 ක ගෙන් සමන්විත වන අතර, එහි අණදෙන නිලධාරී ලෙස කොමාණ්ඩර් අරුනාබ් (Commander Arunabh) කටයුතු කරනු ලබයි.

‘INS Karanj’සබ්මැරීනය දිවයිනේ රැඳී සිටින කාල සීමාව තුළ එහි මෙහෙයුම් ක්‍රියාකරීත්වය පිළිබඳව පැවැත්වෙන දැනුවත් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහනක් සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකා නාවික හමුදා පුද්ගලයන් සහභාගී වීමට නියමිතව ඇති අතර, සබ්මැරීනයේ නැව් මුළුව දිවයිනේ වැදගත් ස්ථාන නැරඹීම සඳහා ප්‍රදේශ කිහිපයක සංචාරය කිරීමටද නියමිතව ඇත.

මෙම නිල සංචාරය නිමා කරමින් 2024 පෙබරවාරි මස 05 වන දින ‘INS Karanj’ සබ්මැරීනය දිවයිනෙන් පිටත්ව යාමට නියමිතව ඇත.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Submarine INS ‘Karanj’ arrives in Colombo

INS ‘Karanj’ – a submarine of the Indian Navy arrived at the port of Colombo today (03rd February 2024) on a formal visit. The visiting submarine was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in precision of naval traditions.

‘INS Karanj is a 67.5m long submarine with a crew of 53 and it is commanded by Commander Arunabh.

While the submarine is in the island, Sri Lanka Navy personnel will participate in a submarine awareness programme, and the submarine crew is set to explore some of the country’s tourist attractions.

Concluding the official visit, INS ‘Karanj’ will depart the island on 05th February.
