අධ්‍යයන සම්පත් මධ්‍යස්ථාන 2,096ක් සිසු අයිතියට
කොවිඩ් වසංගත තත්ත්වය නිසා දුරස්ථ – මාර්ගගත ක්‍රම හරහා පාසල් දූ දරුවන්ට අධ්‍යාපනය ලබාදීමේ දී මතු වී තිබෙන ප්‍රායෝගික ගැටලු සඳහා පිළියමක් වශයෙන් රටපුරා සම්පත් මධ්‍යස්ථාන 2,096ක් අද දින සිට විවෘත කෙරෙන බව අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍ය මහාචාර්ය ජී.එල්.පීරිස් මහතා පවසයි.
අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව පැවසූවේ අද (05) දින මතුගම දොඩම්පාපිටිය ප්‍රාථමික විද්‍යාලයේ සහ මතුගම ඕමත්ත ජනපද කනිෂ්ඨ විද්‍යාලයේ අද දින සිට ආරම්භ කෙරෙන සම්පත් මධ්‍යස්ථාන විවෘත කිරීමේ උත්සවයට සහභාගී වෙමිනි.
එහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දැක්වූ අමාත්‍යවරයා, ” පවතින සෞඛ්‍ය තත්ත්වය මත දූ දරුවන්ගේ අධ්‍යාපනය අඛණ්ඩව පවත්වාගෙන යාම සඳහා දූරස්ථ-මාර්ගගත ක්රමය උපයෝගී කරගෙන තිබෙන නමුත් බොහෝ දුෂ්කර ප්‍රදේශවලට දුරකථන සංඥා, දුරකථන පහසුකම් නොමැතිවීම නිසා එම දූ දරුවන් මුහුණදෙන ගැටලුවට විසඳුමක් ලෙස ශ්‍රි ලංකා මොබිටෙල් ආයනය සහ අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යංශය එක්ව ‘සම්පත් මධ්‍යස්ථාන’ 2,096ක් රට පුරා අද දින සිට විවෘත කෙරේ. මෙම මධ්‍යස්ථාන හඳුනාගනු ලැබුවේ දිස්ත්රික් සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටු සභාපති, සාමාජිකයින්, පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන අධ්‍යක්ෂවරු, කලාප අධ්‍යාපන අධ්‍යක්ෂවරු සහ විදුහල්වතිවරුන් සමඟ සාකච්ඡා කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව ය. මේ සෑම මධ්‍යස්ථානයක ම පරිගණක, ටැබ් යන්ත්‍ර, ලැප්ටොප් පරිගණක, අන්තර්ජාල පහසුකම් ඇතුළු දුරස්ථ-මාර්ගගත අධ්‍යාපනයට අදාළ සියලු ම පහසුකම්වලින් සමන්විත ය. විශේෂයෙන් ම දුෂ්කර ගම්මානවල ආර්ථික වශයෙන් දුෂ්කරතා පවතින, දුරකථන සංඥා සහ දුරකථන පහසුකම් පිළිබඳ ගැටලු පවතින දරුවන්ට ද අධ්‍යාපනයේ සම අවස්ථා ලබාදීම සිදු විය යුතු ය. වගකිවයුතු රජයක් ලෙස එය අපේ ප්‍රමුඛ වගකීමක් ලෙස සැලකිය යුතු වේ.
මේ දුෂ්කර තත්ත්වය හමුවේ වුව ද අධ්‍යයන කටයුතු සාර්ථක කර ගැනීම සඳහා හැකි ඉක්මනින් පාසල් ආරම්භ කිරීම සඳහා සෞඛ්‍ය අංශවල නිර්දේශ මත 240,000ක් පමණ වූ දිවයිනේ සියලු ම ගුරුවරුන් සඳහා එන්නත්කරණය සිදු කිරීම සතියක් වැනි කාලයක් තුළ අවසන් කිරීමට ජනපතිතුමාගෙන් පසුගිය දා උපදෙස් ලැබුණි. මේ වනවිටත් සැලකියයුතු ගුරුවරුන් ප්‍රමාණයකට එන්නත් ලබා දී අවසන් ය. එය ගුරුවරුන්ට කෙරෙන ගෞරවයක් ලෙස ද සැලකිය හැකි ය. තම දරුවන් පාසල්වලට එවීමට එයින් දෙමාපියන්ට විශ්වාසයක් ගොඩනැ‍ඟෙනු ඇත. ඒ අනුව පියවරෙන් පියවර පාසල් ආරම්භ කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තුවන අතර එහි පළමු පියවර වශයෙන් ළමුන් 100ට අඩු දිවයිනේ පාසල් 2,996ක් පමණ සෞඛ්‍ය නිර්දේශ ලැබීමෙන් පසු ව විවෘත කිරීමට අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ. ඒ අනුව අවසන් වශයෙන් සෞඛ්‍ය අංශවල නිසි නිර්දේශයන්ට අනුව පාසල් විවෘත කිරීමට හැකිවනු ඇත.
එබැවින් මෙම මධ්‍යස්ථානවලින් උපරිම ප්‍රයෝජන ලබාගෙන තම දුවා දරුවන්ගේ අධ්‍යාපන කටයුතු සාර්ථක කරගැනීමට දරුවන් යොමුකරවන ලෙස ද අමාත්‍යවරයා දෙමාපියන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේ ය.
මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය පියල් නිශාන්ත ද සිල්වා, පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී සංජීව එදිරිමාන්න මහතා ඇතුළු පිරිසක් ද එක් වූහ.
2,096 Study Resource Centers for Children without Remote Online Facilities – Students – Education Minister
The Minister of Education Prof. GL Peiris says that 2,096 resource centers will be opened throughout the country from today as a solution to the practical problems that have arisen in providing education to school children through remote and online methods due to the Kovid epidemic.
He was speaking at the opening ceremonies of resource centers at Dodampapitiya Primary School, Matugama and Omantha Colony Junior College, Matugama today (05).
The Minister further said, “Sri Lanka Mobitel and the Ministry of Education have adopted the remote-online system to continue their children’s education due to the prevailing health conditions, but as a solution to the problem faced by those children due to the lack of telephone signals and telephone facilities in many difficult areas A total of 2,096 ‘Resource Centers’ will be opened across the country from today.These centers were identified after discussions with the District Coordinating Committee Chairman, members, Provincial Directors of Education, Zonal Directors of Education and school principals. Equipped with all facilities related to distance-online education including laptops, internet facilities, especially in economically disadvantaged villages, children with telephone signal and telephone problems should be given equal access to education.It is our responsibility as a responsible government. Should be considered a primary responsibility.
Despite this difficult situation, the President recently instructed to complete the vaccination of about 240,000 teachers islandwide within a week on the recommendation of the health sector to start schools as soon as possible in order to make academic studies a success. A significant number of teachers have already been vaccinated. It can also be seen as an homage to teachers. It will build confidence in parents to send their children to school. Accordingly, it is hoped to start schools step by step and as a first step it is expected to open about 2,996 schools with less than 100 children in the island after receiving health recommendations. Accordingly, it will be possible to finally open schools in accordance with the proper recommendations of the health sector.
Therefore, the Minister requested the parents to take maximum advantage of these centers and direct their children to succeed in their children’s education.
